ASHDEN International Award to BVT -2021-22
Ashden Trust awarded the prestigious ASHDEN award to Bharathiya Vikas Trust (BVT) for their significant work and the contribution towards developing the Sustainable energy – Solar energy sector during 2021-22 under Energy Access & Skill. The initiatives of BVT in this aspect for several years has been not only towards controlling climate change but also ensuring clean and green livelihood opportunities/ solutions for people of the country.
B-SAFE Centre for Excellence (BVT Sustainable, Agriculture, and Financial Literacy & Energy based solutions) was inaugurated by Sri Sunil Kumar, Minister of Energy, Karnataka at Bharathiya Vikas Trust on October 17, 2021. The centre includes all the solar livelihood machines.
