4 Programs on Autism was organised at BVT, Manipal on 11-04-2022, 13-04-2022, 19-04-2022 & 21-04-2022. 392 ASHAs/AWWs were benefitted by the programs.

BVT organised 4 Entrepreneurship Development Training Program in Udupi district Brahmavara 16-08-2022 to
18-08-2022, Kundapura 25-08-2022 to 27-08-2022 and 2 programs in Karkala from 22-08-2022 to 24-08-2022 and
01-09-2022 to 03-09-2022. 200 SHGs women benefitted by the training programs conducted.

Aari Embroidery LEDP (Livelihood Entrepreneur Development Program) Training

BVT with the collaboration of NABARD, organised 4 Aari embroidery trainings. Three in Hassan district and one in Bagalkot. Thalalur – 27-12-2022 to 07-01-2023, Habbanghatta – 31-01-2023 to 11-02-2023 & Aggunda - 03-03-2023 to 14-03-2023. Bagalkot District 16-05-2022 to 30-05-2022. Totally 125 women were trained under the programs and 50 women are involved in the business.

Tailoring/ Dress designing Training

BVT organised 4 training programs. Kollur –02-06-2022 to 08-06-2022, Vandse - 06-07-2022 to 23-07-2022, Aloor -
23-09-2023 to 14-10-2022 and Udupi - Rotary Club 14-2-2023 to 2-3-2023. 107 women were benefitted from the training. 100 women are involved in the tailoring field.

BVT in collaboration with NABARD organised two training programs in Dakshina Kannada District Puttur - 1-2-2023 to
11-2-2023 and Bantwal - 11-03-2023 to 21-03-2023. 60 women attended the training.

Fabric Painting and Aari Embroidery LEDP Training

NABARD sponsored a 15-day Livelihood Enterprise Development Program on Fabric Painting. Three training programs were conducted in Udupi District. Hemmadi-13-03-2023 to 30-03-2023, Palimaru- 05-04-2023 to 20-04-2023 & Karkala- 10-04-2023 to 24-04-2023.

The program successfully trained 90 women, equipping them with valuable skills in fabric painting. Smt. Sangeetha Kartha, AGM of NABARD, honoured the event as the chief guest, emphasizing NABARD's commitment to promoting skill development and entrepreneurship among women.

NABARD sponsored Training to NGO Representatives about Banking schemes at KVK Mangalore. NABARD AGM Mrs, Sangeetha Kartha, KVK Head Dr. Ramesh and other gave session. Nearly 42 NGO representatives participated in this program.

Organized 5 Village level Corona vaccination camp at Keddalike village. Staff from primary health center conducted this camp at Village level which helped Keddalike village 100% corona vaccination village in the year 2020.

Organized 6 days Friends of Coconut Training (Coconut tree climbing in machine) to 20 youth with collaboration of KVK Mangalore. Distributed coconut climbing machine to youth after completion of the training. This training helped 20 youth to start their own self employment.

Awareness on Solar Livelihood Products

For the partcipants of mashroom cultivation program at kolluru condcuted on 2-8-2021 session of various solar livelihood machines and its applications, benefits of solar livelihood machines, benefits of sustainable energy etc. 40 members were participated & benefited from the program. Santhosh Bhat president of grama panchayat kollur was in the program as chief guest.

Training on developing skills for self employment & entrepreneurship conducted on 4-8-2021 by CEDOK at BVT campus. Along with that training also demonstrated at BVT solar livelihood machineries to all the trainees explained about its usage and benefits. 47 members participated and benefited from the program.

Solar Technician Training Programs at BVT for Indira Shiva Rao Polytechnic. 3 days technician training from 8-12-2021 to 10-12-2021 program included theory and practical sessions on solar energy and equipments, Introduction to PV cells, Solar Inverters, Solar Grid Tie and Off Grid Systems, Site survey, System Design, Practical sessions on solar were conducted. 17 students participated. Pavitra principal of collage was chief guest.

Energy Efficiency and Water Conservation Program

Program on 16-09-2021 at KVK mangalore about water conservation. Sessions included ways of saving water, geographical resources of water etc. participating organisations were BVT, KREDEL (Karnataka Renewable Energy Department). Sumanth Bhat from BVT provided session of solar livelihood machines. 45 members were participated. T.J Ramesh chief scientist of KVK was chief guest.

Solar Technician Training Program

From 8-12-2021 to 10-12-2021 conducted Solar Technician Training Programs at bvt for students of GTTC Uppoor. 3 days technician training program sponsored included theory and practical sessions on solar energy and equipments, Introduction to PV cells, Solar Inverters, Solar Grid Tie and Off Grid Systems, Site survey, System Design, Practical sessions on solar were conducted. 24 students participated. Chief Guest was Manjunath Nayak principal of the college.

Solar Livelihood Products & Financing for District Co-Operative Bank Managers

Conducted on 15-3-2022 training program about solar livelihood products & financing for district co-operative bank managers bagalkota, sessions were conducted on basic introduction to solar, need for solar livelihood products, linkages with financial institutions, financing on solar products, various govt schemes available for solar energy sector etc. About 70 candidates were participated.

Green Skill Development Training Program

At Ahamednagar Maharashtra from 22-03-2022 to 31-03-2022 conducted one month training program on solar skill development for ITI and other students at Don Bosco Grameen Vikas Kendra Ahmednagar Maharashtra. Sessions included theory on solar cells, solar equipments, site survey, solar gird tie systems, inverters, practical session on installing solar street lights, home lighting systems, water heater etc. about 32 students were participated.

Solar Powered Primary Health Center, Digital Smart Class, Solar Sewing Machines

On 29-4-22 BVT has provided solar power for public health centre padubidri for vaccination center. Digital smart class for PU College & sewing machines. All the solar equipments and power system donated under CSR sponsorship by Aspen Infra Pvt Ltd Padubidri. Solar sewing machines were handed over to all the beneficiaries About 20 sewing machines were donated in which included a battery, solar panel and one charge regulator along with sewing machine. 5 kilowatt of solar power system is provided to primary health centre padubidri for powering the vaccine storage unit of the centre. This system will provide 6 to 7 hours of power backup to the centre. Digital smart class includes a LED Television connected to computer. 60 members were participated during the program. Chief guest was Lalaji Medon MLA of Kaup.

Student Solar Light Scholarship Program

BVT is long associated with the Karnataka bank which supports through sustainable energy for poor students who has got difficulties with electrification of their houses. This program is conducted at hunsekumari village dharawad on 29-4-22 about 25 houses benefited from this program also about 60 participants got benefited by this program. During the program each beneficiary got a solar panel, warranty card etc on the dias. Other equipments were provided later after the program. Solar Lightkit includes a battery, charge controller, 2 lights, Switches, connecting cables and other miscellaneous spare parts important for connection of lighting system.

Inauguration of Solar Powered Digital Smartclass

Solar powered smart class provided at Harekala Hajabba School Dakshina Kannada district. This program is sponsored by NABARD on 29-4-22 & implemented by BVT partnering with SELCO. Smart classes are conducted and shown on a LED TV which is connected with solar power. Lessons will be shown on LED TV with illustration for easy understanding and clarity of the subject to the students. By using smart class method around 30 to 40% work of the teachers will be reduced and also increases efficiency of teaching as well learning of concepts more clearly and efficiently. Totally 100 candidates were participated in the program.
